New Arrival

The clan got a wee bit bigger today.

MrsCyclops had a wee bit of a turn this morning, so they took her to theatre for a C-section and our son was born at 10:46. He's 6 weeks early so he only weighs 4lb 1oz and he's in the neonatal intensive care unit just now - getting some help with the basics (breathing, feeding). He's doing well, and hopefully he'll be moving to a slightly less invasive treatment regimen in the next few days. MrsCyclops is also recovering well.

MrsCyclops has had a difficult time with this pregnancy, but she has coped WONDERFULLY throughout, and remained completely calm and collected through everything today (which made my life a lot easier). I am so overwhelmingly proud of her.

As for BabyCyclops, he has a hat! The world is a better place with a hat...
