Brimstone moth

Brimstone moth
Opisthograptis luteolata

We found this rather bright looking moth on our front door this morning. It looks quite new, so hopefully the slight crumple in its wing will straighten, but it is a splendidly coloured moth. It is bright yellow all over like an autumn leaf (… only it's spring)! - and has two small eyes on its wings and bright white lower legs with red-brown knees.
