Inverewe Gardens

Today I persuaded The Crofter to take me to Inverewe Gardens. It is quite a run from Tarbet. We stopped at Maggie's Tearoom for our lunch. On the way there were thick banks of mist but when we arrived at the gardens it was all clear and very pleasant. The gardens are fabulous an loads of rhododendrons and azaleas were blooming in glorious colours. This is just a few of them. The gardens are huge and you really need more than one visit.
Weather in Tarbet seemed to be quite good but very heavy showers tonight.
