Scene 55, Take 10

The mass murderer is caught for the 10th and final time, under my bedroom window, at 11.45 pm this evening, as the film crew retreat to the police cars parked along the track to my neighbours' house.

Calm is restored, once more to the county of Midsomer as another crime is solved, with the line " So many lives lost, and for what?" Spoken by Chief Inspector John Barnaby - (Neil Gudgeon ) seen here in his unmistakable blue-grey suit.

Behind him stands Sergeant Charlie Nelson. (Gwilym Lee)

It's good to know I'm in safe hands!!

Its been a great day! Long-winded but fun to have seen the making of a small part of an episode of Midsomer Murders being filmed in my house and garden. It will be shown on ITV sometime next year, apparently.

Back to reality tomorrow.
