Mount Rainer from Greenwood Ave N & N 75th Street

A gorgeous day and evening in Seattle today, another 10. Went out for dinner with some friends up on Phinney Ridge and had the opportunity to capture an image of Mount Rainer which is about 85 miles south of Seattle. Its sits about 14,000 feet above sea level and is part of the Cascade Mountain Range and really hovers over all the mountains and hills that sit around it.

The mountains are beautiful when they are out in full view, there are times they stay in hiding for days and even weeks at a time. So it has been an exceptionally good spring so far and hopes it stays with us for next several months.

..... it can always rain at night, but sunshine and warm weather is special.
