Denny Station

Went into Denny to do some shopping this morning. I had spotted this bridge on a previous visit but, as I blipped another photograph that day, thought I'd return and capture the image again. Since it's just down from the shops, today was as good a day as any.

There must have been a railway through Denny at some point (Railway Inns at Dennyloanhead and at Denny Cross would suggest there was) and the path towards Winchester Avenue that passes under this bridge has the look of a former railway line about it. So, on one side of the arch there is a painting of 'Denny Station' (pictured), while on the other there is a representation of the Falkirk Wheel.
