Lost In A Book

The warm weather seems to have brought out the public readers in Street; this is the second candidate for booky's Reader's World Series that I've spotted this week, having struggled to find any for the last couple of years!

This reader had chosen an apt spot to get absorbed in her book: the local library opened in 1924; the interior was refurbished earlier this year and houses a collection of the writing of the playwright and activist, Laurence Housman, who lived in the area for a number of years.

Having played my second round of golf in two days this morning, I called in to renew my latest reading material this afternoon.
