"In Serried Ranks Assembled!"

Paid and evening visit to the Majlis and found everyone staring avidly at the TV screen watching the cricket!!!

That is, all but Abu Hamra (red face) and his wife Pinky, who espied me taking the shot and stared straight into the camera! Think they wanted to object to having their photo's taken but didn't want to incur the wrath of the other members of the clan who were otherwise engrossed!

Hey, there are a lot of 'stories' to be had in this blip!!! A trilogy at least!

This was virtually the same line up for the children this morning at their assembly which went off very well...no lines forgotten...no timings missed, no music hiccups and no power cuts!!

To crown it all...their class teacher awarded the entire class the "Students of the Week" Certificate for their performance and fantastic team work.....which I thought was well deserved! They were all thrilled and its now proudly displayed on their classroom door for all to see.

Two exams complete for Albert.....Arabic and Islamic! Another five to go next week but in the meantime, we have a long weekend!

Sunday is an Islamic holiday....so GK and I are off on a visa run on Friday, this time to Muscat for an overnight stay with a long standing friend. We'll see how connected we can be up there!!!
