Bug Builder

My wife noticed a new addition to one of her hangings this afternoon. Some kind of wasp, fly, bug has constructed a home on one of the wire arms. I swore there would be no bug, but as soon as I started taking photos, this flying insect showed up for a photo shoot. It appeared that it was still working on the structure of the nest, it looked like the big bulbous appendage at the end of his body was being used to layer on more material. The nest on the bottom was already sealed up, while this bug went in and out of the top one a couple of times while I watched. Had to break out my flash to ensure I got sharp shots. Fascinating to see nature in action.
