Voting day...

...and amenity number two in Ingbirchworth - the pub/hotel!
When we first moved to the area this was an independently owned pub, which was well known for good food - in fact it was almost impossible to get a table at weekends. When the owner sold up to a chain a series of people took over, but none managed to make a go of it - on at least one occasion we were the only people in having a meal... The latest guy is very good, and has made the pub a hub in the community, hosting village events and putting on specialist evenings and quizzes - so it is thriving once more.
We voted in the function room before lunch - we weren't killed in the rush...
