Garden Centres have changed a lot since my youth!

One of the problems good things about studying retailing is that the subject is all about us, even on the weekend. When I was visiting this garden centre I was struck by how good an example it provides of what is sometimes called 'scrambled merchandising.' Not a (real) plant in sight but many other interesting goods which might just persuade me to part with some more of my money.
