Air Ambulance

A clearer day compared to yesterday but still cold, windy and damp.

A busy morning running around with things for the museum and then I was shipped down to Sumburgh Lighthouse to work in the afternoon. A fairly busy afternoon with visitors coming in from the rain and no Puffins to be seen.
With a rainy evening, it's a fine chance to relax at home with Sammy dog and Archie cat :)

On the way to and from Sumburgh you have to cross over the Sumburgh Airport runway, it's part of the road too! And sometimes you get caught out and have to wait while planes come and go. I had to wait on my way home as one plane took off and then the air ambulance came into land :)
