If you can't beat them...

Carlisle Hospital

The day began with a phone call at 7:30from FredaH (CC's Mum) she was having problems with her arm. CC went across to her bungalow and decided to have a chat with the doctor. This was followed by a visit from her GP who diagnosed a DVT and said she needed to be admitted to hospital.

It was decided that things weren't so bad that an ambulance was needed so we would take her up. Parking at the hospital is such a nightmare that it needs both of us. I drop them off at the door and then go looking for a parking space which even with her blue badge is next to impossible. CC heard one lady telling their Mum it had taken her 20minutes to park. So I park and read, doze and generally fill the time until the hospital visit is finished. This one obviously took more of the day than the usual clinic visit so a shot from the car park is all I managed.
