Swim meet

Youngest had a school swim meet tonight. He had 2 events to swim; freestyle and butterfly. And then he missed one of them.
The other one went not as planned. While diving in, he lost his goggles. They were still on his head, but not in front of his eyes where they're supposed to be. It was a disaster... but he finished and he got a big applause, because that's what they do here when you finish last.
Anyway, he had fun and that's what counts. And I'm proud of him that he didn't give up.

And of course I didn't see the railing when I took this picture. Hopefully better swimming and better pictures next time ;-).
