Inchworm, Inchworm!

Inchworms are the larvae of moths of the family Geometridae. Represented by 35,000 species worldwide, these caterpillars are generally recognized by their distinctive method of locomotion which causes their 1-inch bodies to create loop shapes resembling measuring tape. They remind me of the song from the show Sesame Street. I would sing it to my children when they were small!

It rained today and was cold and cloudy. I went on the deck after 7:00 pm and the inchworm was inching along. He looked cool climbing over the dried roses. Fun blip to capture.
