May Daily Challenge - Moment

Day 22 of AnnieMay and MollyMay's May challenge - Moment

The weather forecast for today was for a lot of rain, so we planned accordingly.

While the rain held off we went down to Nichol End on Derwent Water, amd then headed to Penrith to visit John Gravett's exhibition in No 15. After that we headed to Rheged to see the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition, but it had finished last weekend, so having had lunch we headed to Threlkeld Mining Museum, with a diversion to Castlerigg Stone Circle s the light and clouds were looking good. We never really saw much of the bad weather, apart from on the way into Penrith.

Spent some time playing practising with my shift/tilt lens, and one of the images produced was this demonstration of how a long spanner produces a greater turning Moment, in order to fulfil today's theme.
