Cultural awareness week (celebrating Brazil) at nursery and the last day before half term, so they've had a carnival. All the kids made shakers and headdresses and danced around a lot. They made some kind of fruit/chocolate tart thing with a funny name and came home with a banana! Random :)

This morning we went to messy play at the children's centre. Sticky rice, painting with toothpaste and digging in assorted breakfast cereals. Lily got completely stuck in. D was more interested in the play kitchen area and preparing a picnic for us. They were very sweet at bedtime. Super excited because daddy is coming home for the first time in a fortnight. I had to position his hair just right as i tucked him in, so there was a place for daddy to kiss him when he got back. He also planned to fall asleep right along one edge of his bed so daddy could fit in the space and cuddle him as he slept <3
