Maybe it was seeing news of Toulon playing in the Heineken final. Could have been any number of reasons, I suppose.

I just got this urge for a pastis as I was cooking dinner. The bottle must be 5 years old. I got it in Marseille, oddly enough. Much as I like pastis, I associate it with France and it doesn't seem quite right if I drink it here.

I'm the same with ouzo and raki.

Dinner was good.
