Australia has always had an automotive manufacturing business, but with the recent announcement that GM, Ford and Toyota will cease production in the next year or two has come as a real shock.
Our country will then rely entirely on the import of motor vehicles.

The photo for today features the national vehicle of Australia, the Holden produced by General Motors. This is the "Monaro GTS" and has been sought after by enthusiasts over the years as an "Aussie Icon."
It has always been a collectors item and now with the demise of the brand even more so.
