Shipwreck beach.

The most photographed beach in Greece, possibly in Europe. The ship was wrecked in the 80's as part of a suspected insurance fraud.

Hired a car today and did a tour around the island. Went to Gerakas where the 35% of the Islands breeding population if turtles nest. A beautiful curved beach in a cove dotted with a few islands. Turtles have taste. Good to hear about the conservation methods going on the help protect the turtles - but still much to be done.
Had lunch at Keri lighthouse on the other side of the island, again beautiful views over the cliffs.
Then wiggled through the mountain roads stopping off to get some local thyme honey and wine. Saw the allegedly oldest olive tree on the island - was pretty huge. Then off to shipwreck beech for a precarious walk along the cliff tops to get this view for you lovely blip-poppets :)
Stopped off at skinari cove to see the blue caves before heading back to the hotel. And getting a bit lost... Road signs are not their forte! Oh well we got back eventually. In time for a mojito and a few games of cards. Another day done.
