Graysonside

Home work from the photography class this week is portraits. Luckily I was going to a party and was able to practice on everyone there.

This is my sister-in-law Val who has spent a year planning this weekend, bringing family and friends together to cerebrate her husband's 60th birthday in the Lake District. She has been worrying about everything but need not have done so because about 40 of us had a lovely evening. We took over Graysonside, an excellent B&B near Cockermouth for the weekend and for the party. My husband Mr P, over did things, fainted and brought the party to an end at about 1:30 in the morning. An ambulance was called and he spent the night in West Cumberland Hospital
