A morning visitor!

A welcome sunny morning today, so all doors and windows were thrown open to let in the fresh air. This snail took this as an open house invitation, and unbeknown to me, started to make his way over the back doorstep and into the kitchen!

If you want to know how to make a snail change direction, then simply get down on the floor, eyeball to eyeball, then poke your camera in his face. Luckily he soon turned tail and headed back out into the garden to feast on my plants!
