Sunday wander.

Took a stroll today over the back of the hoose. I had to walk a mile down the road to get there.

To the West there is a ruin called Seatter and from there it's a short hop to the North shore. A skerry called Long Taing juts out into North Ronaldsay Firth. At the end of it is a green bouy that shines a green light into our smallest room at night. Further East is the wonderful Bay of Sandquoy (pictured). How tedious, another empty white sand beach.

No shortcut home, so continue West toward Northwall by road before it bears South towards our bay, just East of Loch of Langamay. Now I could start heading back West and home at last.

Three hours of peace and quiet is more than Gail deserves!
