The Thin End

Of the wedge, at Portland, Tout Quarry, a place where sculptors just do their thing on rocks, slabs etc. It is almost like a treasure hunt, there are worked pieces of Portland stone all over the place, making the visit a kind of treasure hunt.Great fun wonderful carvings and I find things i have not seen before on previous visits. The best bit? It is totally free, and wonderful views over Lyme Bay and Portland Harbour
