Cold War Jets day

Bruntingthorpe was its usual outstanding show today with fast taxying from the Victor XL715, Canberra, Jet Provosts, Buccaneers, Lightning, Nimrod and the most graceful aircraft ever the VC10.

I absconded from my duty in the Vulcan to the Sky club stand for a while so I could queue to go inside the VC10. It's the first time I've set foot in one of those since January 1976 when I flew back from RAF Gan, Maldives. It was amazing to see the layout of the rear facing seats, which always amused civilian aircrew but its the safest way to fly if there's a crash.
What a great day it was. My videos are on YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCp5QPgRMqIec5WtCyGWceZw/videos and my photos on my facebook page.
