Duck

A pretty gentle day today. We went for a walk by the loch before heading home to prepare for our visitors tonight.

The loch is almost completely frozen over apart from one small patch very close to the bank. This has resulted in all the birds that would normally be spread out all being bunched up. I know very little about birds but judging from the group of very serious looking men with big lenses covered in camouflage I think there were some unusual birds among them. This isn't one, he did look nice in the sun though.
