Doxey Pool.

I had every intention of get up and out early this morning !

It didn't quite work out as planed so it was about 9am before I arrived at the Roaches, but I still enjoyed the best part of the day.

I sat for a little while listening to the birds including a Cuckoo in the distance at Doxey Pool which is a peaty tarn along the ridge of the Roaches on the Staffordshire / Derbyshire boarder.
