Which direction?

I passed this addition to the new 'garden' area at the college today, and I liked the artwork. I have always had a very good sense of direction, and I'm puzzled by people who haven't. Similarly, I find it odd that some people, apparently, don't know which direction North is... it usually only takes me a second or two... So, I guess this is just a reminder for the directionally challenged!
