Islands

A planning meeting. After all, only three days of work to go before retirement#3. What to do all June, that's the question. Might there be a possibility of a trip to those famed Shiant Islands? Maybe on a pal's classic wooden yacht? So a pot of tea with the skipper in the usual Stockbridge cafe and a bit of time pouring over a road map of all things. Seven days there? Seven back?
Anyway, that took an enjoyable chunk out the day.
Less enjoyable was reading about the upsurge of nationalism across Europe as demonstrated in the EU Elections. I'm sure we've been here before. Ach well, if it all starts going badly there are a wee set of Islands off Lewis that could be a haven. Plenty puffins, so we'll not go hungry.
