Flowers at the door

These are the pansies in planters outside our front door. Because it is a Georgian town house we step almost straight on to the pavement so we need some colour to brighten things up. I know, I have stripped the colour away but I think it makes it look a bit more interesting.
Horrible day today weather wise as it hasn't stopped raining. Went out with a friend for lunch and did a huge supermarket shop and that was about all. Bottom very firmly glued to the settee now although I know I should be walking.
