Wet, wet, wet

But then it is a bank holiday. Scout's fixed stare as the all day rainfest continues into the evening says it all.

But a restful day - apart from a fight with the house over my right to put up shelves. I managed one but the walls fought back and I decided that it wasn't worth buying diamond tipped drill bits. These old houses have walls that either crumble like Victoria sponge or are stubborn like cast iron.

Been a good weekend.
