Winter

I'm blessed to live in a spot where we don't have harsh winters. However, that doesn't mean we don't have shorter days. With my typical long workday, in the winter, I leave for work in the dark and return home in the dark.

As the afternoon was turning to early evening and dusk was rapidly approaching I began to think about what I wanted to shoot and say today. It instantly became clear that in the winter, I need to clear some time during the day, and instead of a quick lunch at my desk a walk around the block or through the neighborhood with camera in hand will be the new normal.

So today I share the view from my office as I was winding up my day...before I begin the new normal.
