You Have Today

Kaskade - Room For Happiness ft. Skylar Grey (Above & Beyond Remix)

Today was hotter than usual and the humidity reminded me of the summer yet to come (?????). I had spent most of the day recovering and then going out to meet friends for a lovely BBQ. Afterwards I met this chap (Thaddeus,) and we spoke for hours whilst taking photos. It wasn't the usual conversation but it was about perspective on how to really take life by the horns so to speak. It was extremely positive and very worthwhile.

Afterwards we had a quick drink. What was one quick drink, turned into two, then meeting random people who happen to know a mutual friend, it turned into an incredible night of conversation and drinks. We all drank a lot.

What was amazing was the fact that both Thaddeus and I had spoken about being "open" to experiences and allowing ourselves to overcome fear. For some strange reason it was put into practice and opportunities for happiness revealed themselves to us. Afterwards, I thought to myself, these opportunities in life, whatever they may be, have always been there. We need the strength to be able to set aside but acknowledge the fear, and do what we think is right. Things will never come to us if we wait, we must choose to see, and choose to act.

An amazing day. There is so much room for happiness if you let it.
