The shade of the tree!

Today's road trip saw us leaving San Francisco and heading up to Napa. What a way to leave by driving over the Golden Gate Bridge too! Stunning views! The sun is still beating down and as we headed away from the San Fran breeze it was scorching on us! The sunburn from yesterday was starting to hurt so we had to result to putting the roof up!
As I'd forgot to pack the husbands shoes I promised I'd buy him a new pair, and was delighted that there was a premium outlet mall in a Napa! What a great excuse for a spot of shopping and it would save his neck from the heat of the day, I'm such a considerate wife! Managed to pick up some bits and some new shoes for me too!
Next we headed into downtown Napa, which we have renamed Lala land! It just looks like something from a movie... All perfectly laid out! Refreshed with an iced coffee we headed off to find our resort. Driving through Napa is just beautiful so I'm looking forward to adventuring further in tomorrow.
Had a little laze by the pool and a dip then a wander through the vineyard on the hotel grounds before we treated ourselves to a posh nosh dinner.
