A Very Special Postcard

For as long as I can remember a good friend of mine has sent me a postcard whenever she has gone on holiday. She knows I love getting them. This one is extra special though. She is in the middle of very aggressive treatment for cancer and she has somehow found the strength to get to Devon to see a very dear friend of hers before she has to start on radiotherapy treatment. It just gave me such joy to know how much it will have lifted her spirits to get there as she has been too unwell to travel anywhere for the last year. For her to be thinking of me, at such a difficult time in her life, well that is extra special too <3
