Common Tern at Spynie. Any ideas what he is about to feast on?

Briefly saw my little friend the Grebe and his stickleback snack, but not the clearest shots today. Bit dull (blue sky is slightly enhanced...!) so everything came out a wee bit flat generally. Other appearances from some teenage mallards and a pretty depressed looking black-headed gull.
