Hebden Bridge in the snow

We live near the centre of our small, Pennine, market town and therefore, as both of us work from home, we generally shop locally for food each day. It is a 5-minute walk into town but today we decided to take a long way round to reach the shops.
We walked along the river bank in thick virgin snow through woods and along snow-covered lanes. I took umpteen shots including many of trees, absolutely laden, looking stunning in silhouette against the blue sky.
As we approached the shops the townscape opened up.
When choosing which shot to upload to Blipfoto I opted for one which shows the unique architecture and landscape of this area. The 4-storey buildings are 'top and bottom houses', two houses, one on top of the other. Built into the hillside, they each have a street-level front door.
