Storyteller extraordinaire

I had an enchanting evening at the local bookstore listening to this author/musician/researcher tell stories about the people who played American folk music, their songs, and their lives. He was so excited about it all, it was a treat to hear him talk and play. I loved his childlike joy and excitement at hearing applause after playing a song. I wanted to stay and soak in his joy, excitement and intensity for a long time.
