Oasis

Peace and serenity greeted me for a few moments today.
Just a few short moments.
I could have stayed here all day, had I not been pressed to get my round finished.

The trickling of the stream, the birds singing in the bushes and the howling racket of aircraft landing on the airfield just fifty yards away.

This oasis might be man made, and it may not be quite as placid as it appears here, but I guess it looks quite tranquil in picture form ... :o)
