Eventually Nice!

We left home at 2.30pm, plenty of time, traffic was heavy but didn't cause too many issues. Parking at T5 was easy and the electric pod that took us to the terminal was a unique experience.
We then sat on the runway for 45minutes
We landed in Nice later than expected
We then boarded a hot stuffy bus together with the rest of what seemed like the whole population of Nice to the car hire centre.
We then all made a mad dash to our respective car hire companies.
We waited in a long queue for 30mins....the guy up front wanted automatic not manual and was arguing why he couldn't have what he didn't reserve!
After locating our car, we made it out of the car park keeping in mind we are on the wrong side of the road! 20mins later we find our hotel, by this time it's 10.45pm.....if we wanted good the kind hotel receptionist advised we had better hot foot it to the pedestrian area.
We found a pizza place, I'm sure they took pity on us!!

I swear we would have got to Africa quicker!!
