Ashness

The last day in the Lakes and one final walkabout, a 'gentle' stroll up to Ashness Bridge from the NT car park, then back along Walla Crag before finding our way back to the car through Great Wood. Today's Blip is widely recognised as the most photographed bridge in the Lakes, and with Skiddaw rising up behind you can see why.

A close second place to this was Dad talking to a duck in front of Ashness (but you couldn't see Skiddaw), we seemed to be the only people there without a dog or puppy and for that reason the duck approved of us!
