Helmet

It's a public holiday in France today and headed out to a car boot sale. These French helmets were €30, particularly like the one with goggles and a bandage tucked into the side.

There were also American style helmets, with a slightly longer brim. They're left overs from the D-Day landings on the beaches about 5 mikes away. The area is very much gearing up for various ceremonies and visiting dignitaries next week to commemorate the 70th anniversary.
