'Golden Blankets of Fog'

Just a stunning day in Melbourne today.

Starting with just a gorgeous sunrise over the valley at Kangaroo Ground. Took the back road to work this morning and just had to stop to take a few shots.

The scene was quite surreal as the sun rose and spread a layer of golden sunlight over the fog in the valley.

I've just thrown this one up quickly, so I might come back and change my mind later as I managed to get some beauties this morning and had trouble deciding on just one.

Off to a Trivia fundraising night up at the kids school tonight which should be fun.
