Who could give such a terrible name to such a beautiful flower.
What a busy day. After a good nights sleep to get over yesterday it was back to the drawing board to take up on the tasks that had been previously arranged for today.
This afternoon it was to be celebrant for the committal at the cemetery of an old friend whose family had brought her back here to be buried with her husband.
They were Dutch and this woman had liked a glass of Advocat so after the committal we were all handed a small glass of said drink and her son proposed a toast to his mum and what she meant to them all and we drank to it. Then the undertaker said well I have another first for you the hearse is stuck. All the men helped push and it was soon on its way back to Christchurch.
Now I have a friend from south arriving and tomorrow we will go to Methven for the night. My next blip will be on Sunday night as tomorrow there should be a chance for some nice winter scenes on the way up the road. Still waiting word on my sisters progress today but hopefully she will have had a more comfortable day.
Luckily we are a big family so plenty to share the load.
