Now I'm past my 50th blip, I'm wondering how I should treat it. At the moment, it's nice to have somewhere where I can be candid, and not worry about who's reading what I say here (not that I've said anything particularly revelatory). Only one non-blipite knows I'm here, and I'm perfectly happy to keep it that way for now.

I occasionally regret letting my family know about my Flickr site, and was perhaps a little overcautious in making some of my earlier postings 'friends only' to avoid them seeing them. Apart from that, it's an open book now: family albums online and cousins I haven't seen in years logging in. So blip feels the way Flickr used to from that point of view.
