This seemed remarkably difficult to get hold of this year, partly due to a lack of organisation and the resulting panic on my part and partly due to my car dropping to bits.

My advice to motorists is to not get your MOT done at places like Halfords and KwikFit. Find a proper trustworthy garage, where they don't fail your car on anything and everything, and then quote you a fortune to fix it.
