An Artist's Life

Flood stage

The Bitterroot River is well and truly out of its banks and flooding many low-lying areas and roads. There should be a lovely winding ribbon of water and a low island here. Instead we just have water up into the trees and flat water heading north to Missoula. We're into the high 70s and 80s now and that snow-pack is coming down fast. Most of the river is closed to floats and fishing...some people just have to try it. Not this fluffy duck. Staying high on my hill. :-)
