The Common Jackdaw

We have all seen the cruel side of the Jackdaw when raiding other nests and killing young birds.But there is still a handsome, intelligent bird there to bee admired?
I recent days we have had a group of four visiting the garden.They are keeping a watchful eye on the young fledglings around.But they have also discovered the Peanuts that I have placed in an open feeding tray and quickly empty it no sooner than I fill it!
