Decisions, decisions!

This is the hardest choice of photo for a while (especially without Rich helping me to select). We've walked some way today in the Arne RSBP area which is remarkable for my sister and unbelievable for what we've seen. I've got some lovely photos but this is probably the most heart-warming of the day. Looking through the open doorway of a barn was this little fox cub, sitting in the light from the opposite doorway, alone. He'd spotted us first!

Here's the list which isn't everything but, from what we remember, the key ones for us:

- deer including a white one
- mistle thrush
- song thrush
- chiff chaff
- warblers
- spoonbills
- marsh harrier
- oyster catchers
- canada geese (and goslings)
- shelducks (and chicks)
- red shank
- wren family with recently fledged littlies
- goldfinches
- jays
- linnet
- fox cub
- barn owl (in the same barn as the fox cub, in the rafters)
- bull finch
- spotted fly catchers
- stone chat
- siskin
- nuthatch
- meadow pipits
- egret
- heron
- cinnabar moth
- brimstone butterfly
- long jawed spider
- curlews

Fish and chips to finish off the day!
