Offers low wind-speeds (<1-2 m/s) but generally power generation levels are good across the UK.

It's amusing to describe them as 'traditional' but the traditional three-bladed wind turbine mounted on a tall vertical mast and rotating in a vertical plane may be replaced in later generations by other designs more economical and less visually intrusive, such is the rate of technological and design innovation.

Though I find even the 'traditional' wind turbine both elegant and beautiful.
